I received my GC in 2000 and will be eligible for citizenship next month. I got my GC thro' employment based quota and after getting GC, I worked for a year and a half. After this, I changed my profession from Computers to medicine and started going to medical school. If I apply for citizenship, will I be facing any problems as I got my GC thro employment qouta but did not continue doing so?
Also, how feasible is it to apply for citizenship yourself or is it advisable to go through a lawyer?
