Citizenship question

Hello people!
I had a few questions about the citizenship filing. I am a permanent resident, and I am due for applying for citizenship in March. I am planning to get married next month to someone on an F-1 visa.

My questions are:
1. Should I wait until after my citizenship application to get married?
2. What are the advantages/disadvantages of starting the application before marriage?
3. What are the advantages/disadvantages of starting the application after marriage?
4. Assuming getting married before is better and if I fo, can I add my wife to my application so that she can get a fiancee visa after I get my citizenship?

Sorry about the long list of questions.
I would really appreciate any answers to these questions.

Since your wife is already here on F1, there is no difference filing before or after. All she has to keep doing is maintain her F1 status till you get Citizenship and cannot go for F1 visa stamping once married to GC holder as the F1 visa will get rejected.

You can get married now and apply for her GC after you get your Citizenship. Or you can even apply for her I-130 right after marriage and upgrade it after you get Citizenship.

I am not sure why you need Fiance visa, since you do not need to get someone from outside of the US. After your citizenship, once you apply for her I-130, 485, she can leave her F1 status. You can also do K3(Spouse of US Citizen), but I do not see any advantage to that, unless she is out of the US.

(1) Your marriage should not make a difference to your N-400
(2) You will fill a few less sub-sections on the N-400 form
(3) You will need to mention your current spouse and her status on the N-400 form. It should not make any difference to the processing, but you will need to attach a copy of your latest marriage certificate.
(4) She is already in the US. K-1 does not apply to her.
