I got my citizenship interview letter today, I also received a 'yellow' paper letter asking me to bring in my driver's licence AND all arrest records since I indicated on my application 'yes' to the question 'Have you ever been arrested, CITED,....." I have NEVER been arrested in my life! I marked 'yes' to that question since i got a speeding ticket about 4 months ago for about $100, I explained it on the application that it was a speeding ticket which I paid off by mailing them the payment with a check.
How to I resolve this when I go for the interview. How do I prove to the interviewing officer that I was NEVER arrested, just got a speeing ticket which I paid off imediately. I have no documentation of the proof.
I'm nervous now.
My second question is , does tha oath ceremony takes place the same day? (if everything goes well?)
Thanks guys!
