Raleigh-Durham Citizenship Interview De-schedule Club

Hello,
many of us were happy to receive citizenship interview letters, only to receive a letter the following day telling us that the interview was de-scheduled due to unforseen circumstances. The point of this thread is to see who is in the same boat and who gets a second interview letter. I'd like to gauge the time between cancellation notices and new interview letters.

It's best to post this in the specific DO thread you applied in since every DO has different scheduling times.

Lots of factors

Agree with Bobsmyth coz different DO's operate differently. I have seen people getting rescheduled interview notices anywhere from 2 weeks to several months. The reason is there could lots of scenarios behind the cancelation notices.

The DO could be overstaffed. The file never got transferred to the local DO for interview purpose or the applicant's background check was still pending and the service center schedules the interview.
