citizenship how many years?

Hi, I got the greencard in Nov 2001, throght EB2 National Interests Waiver. When can I apply citizenship? I heard I can not do it until Nov. 2006, is it true? Is there any exceptions?

I am thinking about open my own business overseas and need to stay there amlost all the time. Somebody told me I have to stay in US for 6 months every year, is it true?

Apply 4 years 9 months after u got your Green Card, assuming you dont leave the country for over a year. If you leave for over 6 months , you break Continous Residency....

Can you tell me how you can apply in 4 years 9 months ?

I thought you could only apply after 5 years.
