Hello guys,

my long story short, I won GC in visa DV lottery in 2007 and I came to the U.S. the same year. Because I was still studying back in Europe I couldn't move to the U.S. immediately.

So in 2007 I stayed less than 6 months in the U.S. and left back to my home country. Before I left I obtained Drivers License, SSN, Bank Account, and Re-Entry permit.

Right before the Re-Entry permit expired, in February 2010 I came back to the U.S. for good. Here is my travel absence chart:

TripArrived in U.S.Departed U.S.Time insideTime outside
#1February 2010July 20105 months3 weeks
#2August 2010June 201110 months3 months
#3September 2011December 20113 months3 months
#4March 2012October 20126.5 months5 months
#5March 2013July 20134 months5 months
#6December 2013 (expected)no other trip planned

If my math is correct then, so far, since 2010 I have acquired 28.5 months of physical presence. I have never left the U.S for more than 5 months at a time.

In February 2014, I should have around 31 months of physical presence already.

Can I apply 4 years and 1 day rule to my case, so I can apply for citizenship in February 2014 ?
Are there any other possible issues in my case?

Thank you! :)

Nobody knows?

I was also going to add that I am currently unemployed and I only lease my apartment (I do not own it). And I have never had a lease written on my name since I was always paying cash to the landlord who is my friend.
Do you think that could be a problem?
