Please help us, we received GC 4 year before under the category of employment based, My son was 16 years when he received the permanent card. We are going to apply us citizenship for us including for my son, as we going to soon completion of 5 years staying in us. Will he be eligible if we are applying us citizenship as he going turn 21 in 2 months.

What's the best option to make him us citizenship. Will either of the parents needs to maintain the status in this situation. Please help us

I don’t exactly understand what you mean when you say you are all applying for citizenship and at the same time worry about maintaining status, but regardless of that, since the day your son turned 18 his naturalization process has been entirely independent of yours. He needs to meet all the criteria himself and apply himself.

Did he register for selective service when he turned 18?

We all three having Greencard (myself husband and my son). After 5 years we are eligible for apply us citizenship. My son going to be 21 year within 2 months. Is he eligible for apply us citizenship eventhough he got gc when he was 16years old. I heard on other forum, either of the parents(mom.or dad) should maintain status GC, they shouldn't apply for us citizenship

Your son can longer derive citizenship from either of his parents. He is over 18. He needs to apply separately for his citizenship just like you and your husband will each be applying.

That makes no sense at all, no matter what age he is.
(I think you may have been confusing a suggestion commonly made to parents who want to sponsor children over 21 who do not yet have a green card, where the process is faster for LPRs than citizens. Totally irrelevant to your process.)
