My Husband and I are applying for Citizenship. While doing so will we still be able to travel outside the USA, My husbands work calls for a lot of international travel to such countries as Canada and England.

No problem traveling for work, unless he will go over the physical presence requirement of being in the US for 2.5 years out of the last 5.

Once the 30 month requirement is met at the date of filing, traveling after that doesn't affect the counting of physical presence. What britishborn may need to worry about is breaking continuous residence.

Not true.

Physical presence requirement is just limited to the day your N-400 is received. So once it has been received it will have no effect if you come short of 2.5 years out of 5 years incase of your travel outside US.

How much travel? 2-3 weeks per trip, a few times a year? Multiple trips of 3 or 4 months each? A long trip of over 6 months? Has he already been traveling extensively?
