I got my GC in November 2004. My wife is in India and her tourist visa application got rejected. Now I would like to apply for my citizenship asap so that I could get my wife here. How soon can I apply for my citizenship? Considering these circumstances, is there anything that I can do to apply for my citizenship earlier than the regular time period?

You can apply 5 yers less 90 days from the date on your green card assuming you meet all the residency, physical presence and other requirements.
So sometime in September next year

You can apply up to 90 days before your 5th year LPR anniversary. In your case that would be sometime in August 2009.
