I know that you recommend writing traffic violations in the N400 application. But how do I take care of reporting it? I have 2 traffic violations:
1. The first one was in 1999 and it was my fault. I got a ticket. I hired a lawyer and he took care of everything; and I don't remember any details. I know that it shows up in my driving record by I have no points.
2. The second one was in 2001 and for that I have the police report - but I don't know if I got a ticket or not. I never went to the court. This one doesnot show up in the driving record.
Here are my questions:
A. Should I answer question 16 (Have you been arrested, cited or detained by an law enforcement office?) as yes?
B. For each of this - What should I write in the column where they ask for the outcome or disposition of arrest, citiation, detention or charge?
C. Also there is a colum which says why were you arrested, cited, detained or charged? What should I say in that for each of these?
