Hi All:
I have bad financial and credit history.. nothing intentional, just a set of bad financial choices i made..
I would like to know if I have to declare all these in my citizenship application, and how they will affect my citizenship application:
(1) Do I have to list my Bankruptcy court appearance (I declared bankruptcy and was cleared of debts in a bankruptcy court). (2) Housing foreclosure -my house was foreclosed (3) My credit history is not good

You will fit in right there with most Americans. What says more American than a foreclosed home due to medical bills? Don't worry, as long as you meet eligibility requirements, pass civics and history test, and write a simple sentence like Rush Limbaugh is an idiot, you will sail through your naturalization process.

In the process, avoid traffic citations, no drinking and driving, cause those will surely foreclose your naturalization process. Sorry to read about the tough time you are having with financial matters, stay strong and hope that naturalization will create more opportunities to achieve some financial independence. :)

Unless your $675 check bounces

Interesting that one can't get a store credit card without a credit score/report/FICO this and that... But it plays no role in the Citizenship process.
