Citizenship Application and Address Change

Hello to all and good luck during the process of citizenship.

My case is the following:

I used to live in NY. I still have a NY driving license. I moved to NJ two years ago (have utility bills and statements that prove that, but not a NJ driving license). I don't think I ever notified USCIS of the change of address (form AR-11). This form must be mailed out 10 days after you have moved. Now it's been more than 2 years since I moved. Now, it's time to send out form N-400 for naturalization. I will have to write my NJ address in the application.

1. Which state would they invite me for FP and interview? NY or NJ.
2. Should I send out form AR-11 for change of address now or it makes no sense? If I send it out now, it will seem like I never completed 3 months residency in NJ which might be a reason to deny my N-400 application.
3. Other than utility bills that prove residency in one state, do I have to change my driving license to a NJ one or they would never ask for something like that? What does RFE (reference for evidence) would they ask for and when? Additional RFE can be send by mail or during the interview process?

thank you for your advise

File the AR-11 ASAP. On the application, you disclose how long you've been living at the address..they go by that date, not when you sent in AR-11. Your FP will be in NJ (unless you fall under NY district area).
When you moved to NJ, you are supposed to change your DL and car registration to NJ as well. Have you not done so?

thanks for your answer...

No, I haven't changed my license yet. I didn't think it's important. I don't have a car under my name anyway. But I have other documents as a proof (statements, utility bills, tax return, etc). I'll see if I can get a NJ ID issued instead, which I believe is a much easier process. So you think I better send the AR-11 now even though I've been living in NJ for a long time? I was thinking of pretending that I sent it to them and got lost in the mail or something. I didn't think AR-11 is that important. Most people don't even know this form exists. They just fill out the N-400 form with their latest address and they rely on this address to be called for FP and interview.

If AR-11 law is strictly enforced, most of PRs would be deported and most naturalized citizens would be de-natrualized and deported too. and future naturalization civic test would have this question "what led to second Civil War?" with answer "The govbernment want to kick out all immigrants who never filed AR-11"

So don't worry about it. File AR-11 (you can do that online) and then forget about it.
