Citizenship and Kids

Registered Users (C)
2 parents and their kids (all under 18) are permanent residents of the US. The parents are NOT divorced or separated. Only 1 parent is applying for citizenship. Upon conferral of citizenship to the parent, are the kids granted automatic citizenship?

Experts please advise.

Once the parent is naturalized, the children are automatically citizens. However, you still need to submit a N-600 to officially transmit citizenship.
