Citizenship and arrests

in the judgment of that court is : the charge will be dimsmissed upon payment of costs by the defendant. so, i paid just the court fees.
 
when i talked to prosecutor ( i told him that i cant plead guilty cause it will effect my citizenship), he told me that this will be dismissed and i will just need to pay court fees...
 
Kukush : It has nothing to do with what you told the prosecutor, it has everything to do with what is written on the piece of paper which was given to you when the case was dismissed. If you verbally pled and it got noted down, it is an issue. However, if they dismissed you as NOT GUILTY, then you have to stick to that story somehow. You can not go to CIS and disclose this private understanding but have to go by your official record. What did it say? [ Although I am not a proponent of lying, this case may be a place when official record might be different from the truth, so what's a person to do? ]
