Citizenship After 1 year of gettinc GC ???

Hi,

I got my GC last year.
But I was struck in Labor for more than 3 years and then in Name check for another 3 years.

Is there any way that I can apply for C'Ship sooner than the normal 4 and half year period?

Another one waited one year to get the H visa from overseas consulate, 5.5years on H visa on the states and his GC application is pending for 6 years so far (extending H). Any way he can get citizenship with effective date 4 or three years ago without going to GC at all?
Be happy with what you have and apply for citizen ship after the 5 years at least you did not waste one day voting last few weeks.
