my wife is from the philippines, she is now a us citizen(1993) her daughter has her green card and she is 24yrs old, what does she need to do to get her citizenship and a us passport

How long has the daughter had her GC?
5 years (less 90 days) of being a GC holder, one is eligible to file for citizenship.

If the daughter lived in the US between under the physical custody of her mother between the time mother got citizenship and daughter turned 18, she may already be a US citizen and can apply for a US passport. Paperwork required for her passport are:
1) Passport application, fees.
2) Her original Green card
3) Proof that she lived with her mother in the US between the time mother got citizenship and daughter turned 18 (school records will help)
4) Mother's original naturalization certificate

if not, daughter can file N-400 for naturalization.

I actually have the same situation...

Currently Im 23 years of age, unmarried and my mother became a naturalized citizen before I was 18 years of age. I have a permanent resident card, social security and I have been living in the States all my life. In order for me to obtain citizenship do I have to file an N-600? Would there be any type of situation that might not be necessary to fill out an N-600 in my case? I don't want to pay the pricy fee and then find out that I am not eligible to complete an N-600.

My parents were married when I was born.
They divorced before the age of 16 and my mom has legal custody over me.
I have a permanent resident card
I have proof that I have lived here all my life
I have never changed my name

Would there be anything that would disqualify me from an N-600. Am i too old to file an N-600 now that i am 23? Or does the law only apply for a parent to become a naturalized citizen before I turn 18 years of age, and after that I may fill an n-600 regardless of age?
Please help
