i have a problem here and i will appreciate if anybody could share their views:

i got my GC through my employer but i will apply my citizenship this June 30, 2005 which is 90 days before the THIRD YEAR being married to a US CITIZEN.
my first question:
My eldest son from the first marriage will turn 18 ( August 25, 2005)this year so, if ever my citizenship is approved this year or may be early next year, he will be more than 18 years old, hence i cannot file for his citizenship.
Do you know any legal ways for me to get his citizenship by next year even if he is a little bit more than 18 years old????
my second question:
Have you seen any case that USCIS gave some leeway on this kind of situation?

I will really appreciate any comments or views that could enlighten me on this matter.

No. He'll have to apply N400 on his own.

I applied for my citizenship in August, 2002, took an oath and became a citizen only on September 17, 2004. My younger daughter turned 18 on August 31, 2004. I didn't even bother to ask the INS about filing N-600 for her. I just filed N-400.
But I did ask the INS about a relative of mine who wanted to file a petition for her stepdaughter. One can do it if the marriage to the biological parent of the child took place before the child's 18th birthday. Her stepdaughter turned 18th 20 days before the registration of their marriage. The answer I got from the INS over the phone was "The rule is a rule, but you can always try. It is up to the immigration officer to except the petition or not".
In your case I just don't think it will be "a little bit".
