CIS Memo to families applying together

Interesting.. In forum members experience who have family members applying for N 400 together , do family members get interviewed on the same day expecially if one's place of residence is far off from the DO which is true in at least my case...does USCIS even care abt this ??
 
My wife and I were "grouped" together. We had fingerprints and interviews on the same day with back-to-back appointments and will have our oath on the same day. The one thing which my wife's interviewing officer mentioned was that typically the same officer with do both interviews, although that did not take place in our case. We are 3 hours drive from our DO, so having them grouped together was certainly nice as it avoided potentially having to make 6 trips to Charlotte instead of only 3 (fingerprints, interview and oath).
