CIS Appointment to Complete 189 Card

Hi Everyone,

I got a letter from CIS asking me to go to the local office to complete 198 Card. My ND is 12/99, I had my interview in early November 2006 in the local office, and I mailed them my affidavit of birth in the middle of November. They are asking me to bring tow passport photos, my passport, EAD, and any I-94 cards.

I'm guessing they are going to issue me a temporary card! Anyone know what this is? It may be the end of my painful wait!

This is the form they send to the card production facility so that a card can be made for you. If you search the old messages I am sure they have been discussed before.
