Hi,

I was wondering if anybody is aware of the method of checking book/journal circulation records. I can get impact factors from Web of Science, but cannot get circulation.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

If you want circulation numbers, you need to go to the home page of each individual journal; Some post it, some don't. It's sometimes buried on the page for potential advertisers.

Since so many people get institutional access to journals though, the circulation numbers themselves probably aren't as important as evidence along the lines of "The Journal of XYZ is the official journal of the International Society of XYZ", or "The journal of ABC is circulated in 76 countries". This gives more pertinent info than an arbitrary circulation number, especially for journals that are important to your particular field, but may not necessarily be Science or Nature or JAMA.
