Hello everybody,

While trying to find info about the New CIR Bill regarding the immigration matter....I found this forum with the following thread.....and it terrifies me..it creats panic among the people.

What are your opinions/ideas/inputs regarding the new bill introduced on May 21 2007 but not become a law yet.

The link is here: http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=4731

.....the idea in this thread is that the people who applied for their GC, or file for I-140 form after May 21 2005 .......they will go under the new merit system with points and have to start fresh Gc under the new system. What do you say about it?
And the cut off dates to be the exact day they introduced the new bill: May 21 2007.
Have patience...it's a long thread.

  Ok I'm about to have a heart attack...does this mean we are filing i-140s for no reason (if it's after the may cutoff date) once the bill is enacted?? Or once the bill is effective?? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...too bad we're not illegal...we would have more rights that way :(

Oh yeah....as if we don't know that before. We all know what you are up to, trying to lure people to your site.....we are all intelligent over here at Portal, we get the news as it breaks here, we keep up to date with congress and its bill we have the best analyst here.

Thats old skool news to us! No wonder people loose their trust in you. Why did you not ask them simply to visit.

The bill is not yet approved so there is still hope. There are lot of people opposing it. Hopefully there will be enough people that make noise about these provisions that hurt high skilled labor.

Is it after May 21 2005 or May 21 2007?

thera33,

From your previous posts, it is very clear that you actually want more Family Based visas even if it is at the expense of EB. So you would actually prefer to see IV go down in flames. When I see people like you ,I get reminded of the crab story. So sad.
