ciba\'s message dt jan 28 2002

May God Bless you CIBA.

Dear CIBA,

It is incredibly nice of you to have been of great help to all of us.
It is unfortunate to this board that you have to stop your service
for a period. But you are doing the right thing.

I read somewhere on the net that :

If we could shrink the earth\'s population to a village of
precisely 100 people, with all the existing human ratios
remaining the same, it would look something like the following:

There would be:
* 57 Asians;
* 21 Europeans;
* 14 from the Western Hemisphere, both north and south;
* 8 Africans;
* 52 would be female;
* 48 would be male;
* 70 would be non-white;
* 30 would be white.
* 70 would be non-Christian;
* 30 would be Christian.
* 89 would be heterosexual;
* 11 would be homosexual.
* 6 people would possess 59% of the entire world\'s wealth,
   (and all 6 would be from the United States);
* 80 would live in substandard housing;
* 70 would be unable to read;
* 50 would suffer from malnutrition;
* 1 would be near death; 1 would be near birth;
* 1 (yes, only 1) would have a college education;
* 1 would own a computer.

I am sure you are one in a billion. So to find one person like you
one might have to shrink the world to a billion people.

To quote one of the old Tamil (one of the ancient Indian languages)
sayings by one lady poet called Owvayaar:
It rains to benefit only one good person. But that rain helps everyone also.

One of the interpretation of this is that, this cosmos
(nature/God/Whatever you call) helps all of us only
because of the selfless good work of a few people.

Now I understand this better CIBA. Your selfless work is what is referred here.

I am sure you have been re payed well for your selfless work.
The enjoyment you get, by your heart getting more and more
opened when you spend your precious things (time, money,
knowledge, etc.,) for the benefit of some unknown people,
without expecting any (material, etc.,) return is not a
thing anyone can buy somewhere or acquire by virtue of
birth or status. Such a "natural high" cannot be experienced
by use of any kind of drug.

Having experienced this when you worked, I am 100 % sure that,
you will come back to work again for this board
or do your great service in some other form, and continue
to be an inspiration to everyone.

May God Bless you CIBA.

Sincerely,
united win.

Good luck Ciba whereever you are!!!

Thank you a lot for your wonderful work down and enjoy your job
and family life!!! God bless you!

Thanks ciba for the good heart and efforts...

I think some how in this busy world you have found some time to do this great service for us. We are ever grateful to you for this.

Keep it up!

I know you will continue to do such service elsewhere when you get time and people like you won\'t rest without doing such good things.

Good Luck!

Bye now....

waw...

united win,

.. I couldn\'t stop saying "waw" after reading your complements for ciba :)

From bottom of my heart I believe that ciba deserves such a complement. I know several people on this board who are very helpful but they are just helping each other in this GC journey. Greatness of ciba is -able to find some time to continue helping people with his experience and knowledge, and that too in a very professional and convincing way. I never participated in any board discussions on the net before, I should say I learned (at least tried) several things from ciba.

Ciba we sure miss you and I wish you very best in your life.

CIBA - > A fitting farewell from your side may be to pass on your legacy to PCee

CIBA,
First of all hats off to you.
You have done incredible job of holding all the statistics together and giving people a trend/pattern to find what\'s happening to them.
Until, you did it, there was no effective system in place.
People were at mercy of AVM and there was no trend information available.
I am quiet sure it gave many people some ulcers, heart-aches and sleepless nights , reducing their efficiency and productivity.

You came and changed the dark side into a lighted one by removing the ignorance of the process.
Suddenly people started to see things better in bright light of your hard work.
It takes huge grit, determination, pursuation, love, affection and IQ to stick to this humongous task.

Well Done my friend. this will go a long way in your life and you have inspired many folks to do something on their own in life for the society.

A fitting farewell from your side is to handover your data and web site to a guy like PCeeGCee, who is showing tremendous promise, cool head and non-contraversial and not dectating nature.

CIBA -> Live long and prosper !!!

CIBA: thank you for everything and Good Luck

Ciba,

Thank you for providing light during the dark GC wait periods..

Ciba, it beaks my heart to see you go away!

To me, the immigration.com and CIBA were kind of synonymous. You were an inspiration to so many others. The work that you continued to do was so amazing. People looked up to you for an advice. You would give it to them in most unselfish manner. Most of the times I am sure that your words meant much more than those immigration lawyers. I hope that your legacy continues. Like someone said, you united the immigration community in a common thread.

What are we gonna do without you? But, I hope that you enjoy your new job. I would still hope that you sometimes post a few lines on the board just to cheer us all up.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Auf Widersen CIBA !!!!!

It is indeed sad to see CIBA leaving (be it temporary...). I have followed very closely both in immigration.com and isn.org where CIBA found time and energy constantly to follow and answer fellow immigrants questions and clarifications.

Yes, being a non-techie it takes more effort to maintain all these details. We all salute you for your hardword and hope PCee who is doing wonderful job at present to carry the tradition and legacy of CIBA.

Good luck CIBA...
