There is no real way to get a fix on the time it takes to get AP & EAD approval. In my case it took approximately three and a half months from RD to get AP approval. I have still not got my EAD. So, you can assume it will take a couple of months. Hope this helps

Normally (up until early this year before April), AP and EAD
took one and three months, respectively, to process. I don\'t
know the recent processing timeframe. Check out the tracking
list. Many people provide AP/EAD data in their entry (see
the Remarks column) which should give you some idea of the
approximate processing time.

I have applied for I485/EAD/AP on april 26th and still haven\'t got my EAD,how every you can go to local INS and get temporary card after 90 days.

Hello Venkat,

I know of a person who applied on August 28th and hurrah!!! on Sep 9th had his AP delivered !! even before he got the reciept However waiting for his EAD. for me however it took 3 months

So the conclusion totally illogical and uncertain. Keep your fingers crossed.
