Ciba : Please Advise

Hi Ciba,

I have done FP on Jan 27 \'01 and called FBI a week after,
the officer said my FP result is good and they had sent it back to INS on Jan 28
 
Today, I called CSC for checking FP status.
After I talked to a IIO, she asked my A# and name. (This means she is checking system #2, right?)
Then she told me "INS has not received my FP result from FBI yet, they are still waiting for FBI to clear"

My questions are:
1. Since it been a month after I have done FP. Shouldn\'t I hear "We have received your FP." from IIO after FBI sent my FP result back to INS? Does this mean FBI failed to send back my FP result to INS or INS misplaced it?
2. Is there a way to request FBI to resend FP result to INS?
3. Do I need to redo my FP?

If you are on discussion boards long enough, you\'d know that IIOs
at CSC always give out contradictory answers to the same question.
You should use their response as a guideline only and never trust
what they tell you.

As for your finger prints, since FBI has confirmed the results and
sent them to INS, you can safely assume they reach the destination
and will be entered to the computer system correctly. There is no
need to redo your finger prints.

I confirm Ciba\'s message and I got 2 nd FP notice too, I ignored all this 2nd FP( after all this research), I got my 485 approved too 3 months back. Do not worry and check the mail regularly for 485 approval notice
