On Monday Feb. 5th, I almost went to Westminster but I then decided to stick with downtown L.A. (even if just for peace of mind!)
Me and my husband got there at 12:50 a.m. and found 34 people ahead; parked on the street around the block close to the parking (which opened at 5:30); by 2:30 people started coming steadily and by 6:00 there must have been more than 400 in line;
a few tried to sneak in but the people in line prevented it together with a policeman;
got in before 7:00, metal detector, got number, sat down and 20 minutes later our numbers came up on the display;
We gave : original approval notice, 2 photos, passport, interim and regular EADs, I-94 (my IIO took my EADs and I-94 vs my husband\'s IIO gave him back his EADs and I-94). We got: red stamp on passport!
What a relief!!
Thanks again Ciba (please add me to the plastic card waiting list) and everybody else for sharing all the info.
Best of luck to all of you.
