We both got our passports stamped. But the IIO who stamped my spouse\'s passport put "" in the DOE field where as the IIO who stamped my passport put "" in the DOE field. Would this be a problem if we travel outside. I guess mine is correct but my spouse\'s is not. We did not notice it in the INS office. We just checked and it looked different. What should we do to get it corrected?

Hi GodFather,

I am not sure I understand your message. Why do you
have DOE in the red stamp? I checked my passport
page with the stamp, and found no such DOE field.

Ciba, looks like San Jose has different style to stamp the passport

Here is how the stamp looked like for us:

--------------------
A# xx xxx xxx

COS -----
POE ------
DOE ------
SJS/ /Date ------
I-89 processed
I-485 approved
wac-xx-xxx-xxxxx
--------------------------------------

This is new to me. I too stamped my passport in San Jose.
The stamp contains A#, red stuff with valid date, and
IIO\'s handwritten COA, I-485 wac number, and date of
I-89, along with IIO\'s name and identification number.

That\'s all. No POE/DOE (these two sound like for CP
people who enter as immigrants.)
