Ciba ,How much time for I-485 approval after PD Current

Hi Ciba,

Do you have any idea, how much time it takes for CSC to process I-485 after priority date becomes current. I have PD 12/98 and I have completed everything for my I-485 in 08/2000. I verified that my FP was cleared by FBI but INS could approve my petition because my PD was not current for EB3 / INDIA. Now with June bulletin, it has become current for me. So do you have idea, how much time CSC will take to comlete processing ? Do I have to call them or send fax to expedite my case...

It all depends on your luck. If your luck is like mine you will wait for 7 months, two of my friend got in the first week after his date become current.

One of my friend\'s I-485 got approved in 2 weeks, once his priority dates become current.Hope your case is also cleared in couple of weeks

If they get to your case while your PD is not current, your case
will be put on hold waiting for PD. Once PD is current for you,
they will approve it immediately. The shortest time we have
seen is on the same day, meaning that previous non-current PD
get approved on the same date when PD becomes current.

On the other hand, if your case is still sitting on the non-current
PD shelves, you have to wait for a lot longer until someone goes
there to pick it up (which reportedly is done once a month).
