Ciba, Changed job after 180 days. Please update

Ciba, today my husband joined a new company and this is 182 days from his RD. We got our EAD last week of January. He has H1 transfer notice and he is using that.
  His old CO. changed name and INS sent a RFE regarding that. RFE respond send Jan 17. AVM updated Feb 08. We don\'t know what to do if INS asked 140 redo.

How the INS knew that your husband\'s old CO. changed name?
Did your husband\'s old company or your husband inform the INS or the INS just knew it?
