I am in a terrible situation. My company is closing down in few weeks. My RD is 4/5 and ND id 4/23. For the 180 days rule, which in applicable RD or ND? My attorney says that it is RD, But I read previously in this board that it\'s ND. Which is correct?
If I find a job, can I start using my EAD? or should I wait till 180 days. Please advise.

If your lawyer is good and you have already given your FP he should get you GC

IT happened to my friend, the lawyer was really good and he got my friends GC after an inquery. GO and remind your lawyer about his obligations.
Its better to wait till you get over with 180 days, as long as your new employer is ready to wait. I know in the second sentence I didn\'t tell you much.
Good luck

Hi apr_waiter,

I have said this before, with so many different interpretations
of the new AC21 rules, I am just as confused as everyone. I
suggest you search for Ron\'s discussion board for answers.

P.S Most lawyers think 180 days counts from receipt date.
