Guys, My GC was approved yesterday, approval date is Aug 5th.
My FP was done on July 18th and the approval was surprisingly fast.

Ciba, Thanks for your inputs and maintianing this site. Can you please advise what all I need to take with me to get the stamping done. The approval says need to take two photos, I have never seen that. I have got a courtsey copy, my lawyer gets the original. Can I take the courtsey copy and get the stamping done...Please advise.

congrats. docs you need take:

1) 485 approval notice (courtesy copy is sufficient)
  2) 2 photographs
  3) Passport with I-94(s)
  4) AP and EAD (only if applied and available)

and just in case,
  5) Payroll stubs
  6) All Visas, Tax papers, Receipts etc ..

you?

Other than the documents mentioned in the approval notice
(passport, all I-94s, two photos), also carry EAD and advance
parole with you for stamping. Paystubs are NOT needed.
