Choosing POE airport

I've heard, that this may be very important. If you're out of the country for prolonged time (say more than 6 months and < 12 months) you face the problem to be questioned.

If you choose small POE airport, officerts usually have more time to inspect you than on , say, JFK in New York. So you're then less likely to be inspected...

Whay do you think?

I don't know if it makes much of a difference. Busy airports like JFK and Miami have less time to analyze your situation, but they also get more suspicious or fraudulent travelers than the small quiet airports. And if anything is suspicious, they send you to the secondary inspection room where they have the whole day to interrogate you if they want.

My choice is surely JFK, because I live in New York :) and hopefully will be admited in again after those 9 months

My whole family will also come back after 11 months due to my kids finishing secondary schools. Any chance they will refuse us entry?

I was thinking like that after my first trip, where they sent me to secondary inspection at the JFK. Next time, I landed in Atlanta on purpose to avoid that, the same thing: secondary inspection. Once the officer swipe my GC, the computer said there is similarity between my name and someone else and I was told every time I will come from overseas trip, even after citizenship I will be sent to 2ry inspection. It is a question: How long have you been overseas? The consequence depends on the officer reaction and his/her understanding not the airport itself.
