My wife in bangladesh received a letter with a Choice of Agent and Address for which she is to complete and return.

Can she put me (the petitioner) down as the agent?

I am pretty sure that you can, My brother did so and it worked out fine. I will be doing the same. Still waiting for the approval.

agent ?

my friend who was the petitioner for her spouse's K3 also received this choice of agent form. it requested a $65 fee and her husbands signature. she turned it in with the money, and just today got another letter requesting another $335 for traveling applicant.. strange i never got one of these forms, not too sure what to think of it

It actually goes along with the I-130 application process. I went ahead and sent in the $65 Affidavit of Support fee. My wife sent in the Agent application herself.

thanks

i guess because she is using vermont service center (lucky her) and i am using texas (slow as thick molassis) is why i havent gotten anything yet.

Slow as snail

I think California service center is the slowest of them all.

I paid the $335 when I filed the paperwork aswell. Now Im still anxiously awaiting the x!!!??00oo approval.

Did they say what the $335 was for? It looks familiar. I think the interview fee? I think I'll get that letter once they process the agent form.

it said that

it said that if her husband chosen her as his choice of agent, and before further processing of the 1-130, she needs to pay the travelling fee in the amount of $335.00. she was confused by the letter because then it went on to say that if her spouse was the primary applicant, then they could disregard it.

You know its been so long since I applied, I forgot why I paid $335?? anyhow, its not helping the matter any, I applied feb 28th of 2003 and still waiting for the approval.
