Appreciate the information you have been giving us needy people.
Here is my situation:
I am on an H1 (transferred from Company A to Company B) with visa stamped on Company A as of now. My wife is on H4 and we are looking to convert it into a work visa (H1 or L2)
- We are trying to find sponsor companies who would sponsor her H1 visa. However, that is far fecthed now since companies are ready to sponsor.
- However, we need to travel to India in Feb next year. Is it advisable to apply for a H1 (assuming we find a company) now and travel to India or should we rather come back from India and apply ? Please let me know issues in either case.
- We are thinking of gettign L2 assuming I would be able to convert into an L1 next year (this is because of company rules wherein I can convert from H1 - L1 after 5 years of H1 usage) - Possible only after June next year.
Please suggest which is a better option. Thanks in Advance..
