Child's Name change - US born

Hi,
My medicals are done and am waiting for my landing papers. In the meantime, we have changed our US born daughter's name. We have the new birth certificate also. Do I need to notify the Immigration authorities about the name change?

You should notify the new name to Canadian Consulate in buffalo so that they will update tiyr file. Refer your application number while sending the new information.
