Please help me . When i was approve on immigrant visa the consular ask me if i have a child and i said no because i am not married and i dont have my name on the child birth certificate,and because im scared to say yes because if im going to say yes then there is no evidence on the child birthcertificate that i am the father im deeply thinking that im lying to consular, when i had a green card i went to them to legitimate the child and to marry my girlfriend, and i want to petition them. is there having a problem with it ?
 
Yes, it will be an issue. This administration also seems particularly harsh in dealing with people who lie on immigration paperwork. You should have been honest originally. Have seen a couple of (I think recent) cases reported of this where the green card has been revoked for false information on the application.
