I filed a petition on behalf of son back in 2002 while I was a permanent resident. My son was overseas and I was in the States so I requested everything to be handled by the embassy once the papers were ready. I became a USC three weeks ago and the Embassy is in receipt of my citizenship certificate and they scheduled an interview for my son on June 28th. I am going down to Peru (where my son lives) to attend the interview with him? What can we expect? Is this people going to be mean like they were to me when I obtained my GC? How are they supossed to conduct an interview with a 12 years old child? Thanks for the responses....
