I had an Infopass appointment at 1.10 pm. I made only one appointment for myself, my wife and two kids. Our number was called at 1.25 pm. The lady at the counter asked me whether we had made only one appointment for the family and I replied in the affirmative. She was not happy about the prospect of handling four applications at the same time, but she accepted them nonetheless. Our photos were rejected because she said they were a bit smaller than what was acceptable, and because the ears could not be clearly seen. $35 down the drain because of that (Walgreens...grrrrrrrr). She also wanted all the previous EADs issued to my wife (I had forgotten to get the one that had expired last year). However, she told me to mail these documents to USCIS directly. We got fresh photos from across the street, and handed them in. She then gave us our passports duly stamped with the I-551.
It thus looks like USCIS is willing to accept the whole family on one appointment. There is no need to make separate appointments, worrying about using multiple computers and all that jazz.
