Chicago PP Stamp and SS Change Experience

Upon GC approval, PP Stamping, SSN change do we have to change anything in our emplyment records ? How the employment record status changes from H1 to GC ?

Infopass

I got my passport stamped yesterday at Chicago office. It was a pretty good experience. The officer was very nice an polite.

However, I just wanted to let everyone know that starting today, they will not allow walk-ins for passport stamping. Everyone will have to get an appointment through their infopass system to be able to enter the building.

I called the number and within a month I got my card. But then ,I had been waiting for more than 8 months. So it might be just a coincidence. Still, it doesn't hurt. You don't lose anything other than 20 minutes of your time.
