Chicago Local office 1-485 processing date changed to Oct 20 '2002

What does the reciept date mean?

Is this the RD of I-485 by the service center or is this the local office reciept date from service center?

Please help me understand

Patcha_card -

Receipt date is the actual RD that you filed with the Service center for I-485.

Even I was confused like you thinking that it is the Transfer Date (TD). But, when asked my lawyer about it, they confirmed that it is the RD and not the TD.

Life is full of mystery with CIS :)

Thanks,

Hi,
My receipt date is also Oct. 2002.
In August, INS transfered my I485 to an office in CHICAGO, IL for
processing.
In September, I received my second finger print notice and submitted my FP.
Any idea how long it's going to take from this period onwards to get my GC.
I also heard that there is a distinct possibility that I will be called for personal interview. Does this happen in all cases. Pls. advise.
