For the rest of us, DOL has processed cases in the 0540180X range as of 01/25/02. I am sure there are some cases in the 1700 and even 1600 range that are still waiting- My case is in the 181X range. We should all hear something in a day or two. Keep your fingers crossed!

If NOF issued to one case of the company would effect other case of same company?
Hi All,
I came to know that one of my companies LC case was issued NOF couple of months back and after that I have not seen any updates on our companies cases. Is there anyone could tell me why it is happening?
I was trying to find out status of my case using employer phone number and I got some cases, out of which one case has following status.
Received Regional Office: 07/27/2001
Current Status : Notice of Findings Issued -- FINAL ACTION Due On 12/12/2001. Posted on 11/07/2001.
Other cases with RD later then above have not gone any status change.

As I acknowledged in an earlier post, there is no rule that cases have to be processed strictly by the order of the assigned numbers, even though they generally are. I am sure there are multiple analysts working on our cases and there might be a variation in the approval dates-usually not more than a few days. That\'s why I am expecting some news shortly. Your case and mine have probably been processed yesterday/Today and might show up with the next AVM update. Patience, my friend!

we need more info about the NOF-what was the exact problem with that case-before we can come to conclusions. NOF may be issued for any number of reasons-including recent layoffs in similar jobs in the company, inadequate recruitment, nonhiring of available american worker, etc. Whether your case is likely to be affected would depend on the exact reason for the NOF. As to your other question, when were the other cases received at DOL? If they were received later than october of 2001, they are just waiting for their turn. Be optimistic.
