Chicago Asylum office current situation

Hallo guys do anybody knows the current situation in chicago asylum office regarding invitation to asylum interview? I applied for asylum in the 15th of june finish my biometrics in the end of june 2015 and waiting for invitation for interview. And idea to wait 2 years for it frustrate me, thanks in advance!
 
@Amerikanski, you filed for asylum 4 months ahead of me (mine was in october 2014). it seems to me that there will be a long wait for us in chicago, and i share your frustration. even with a decent enough job with health insurance, it is not the state i want to be, hanging and not knowing what life will turn out to be.
 
CWH I applied in june 2015 so you around 8 months ahead of, yes I hope they will hire more officers and work goes quick, I hope so
 
not to discourgae younor anything, but yes you have to prepare yourself psychologically and financially for at least two years to get and interview, and then another year or two (or could be two weeks after the interview) for the decision to be made, if there is no change in staffing at asylum offices.

i hate to wait like this too but that is how asylum applications are processed. But at least, we can enjoy nice weather by Lake Michigan for now!
