I would not have known anything about CP without this board.
The experience so far was that of apprehension but the actual thing
took less than 3 minutes. It probably is similar to others, but untill
you see the visa i was somehow not sure. Got the packet at hotel address
at 11.30 today.
Points to remember for future Cpers
1. First check if your current salary is same/more than the LC salary.
I did not know about it until Jan 30!! I had to run around in the last
moment to get the future figure in the emp letter.
2. For Company name change/merger/acquisition cases at Chennai it may be safe to assume that you dont need the I-140 amendment before the interview.
But its better to be safe than sorry. In my case, i could not get the
amendment before i left. I just took some press releases, web articles and
emp letter with name change details.
I think all other things like where to stay,DD\'s travellers checks, photos
and the whole shebang are all TRIVIAL.
Question for successfull cpers.
On the sheet on the brown cover, my oocupation is listed "Mathematics/Computer SCientist" and my category is EB2
and my LC title is diffrent. Does this matter at POE?
My first name and middle name are interchanged, guess i can correct it
at POE.
