Checks ??? What are they ???

Guys,
How many CHECKS total? I came to the Santa Ana DO today and found out:
_ Fingerprint check: cleared
_ Namecheck: cleared (4/17/07)
_ Another check is still pending (background check ???)

I asked the officer what it was, she said she didn't know ??? She told me that there usually 3 or 4 checks for each application ????

Background check may mean check for minor offenses that did not imply fingerprinting and mug shots (those being cleared by biometrics). Just my guess.

Did you make an infopass appointment? Please share. I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I know my fingerprint check cleared because I received EAD. Not sure about name check, though.

Yep... i made an infopass with my DO ... When you do Infopass, please ask how many types of checks do they need to clear before adjusting the status...
