Checks pending.... hell

My name check is pending forever ( see my signature). Got a letter from USCIS yesterday where they said:
"Your case has been selected for extensive review and system checks, and you will be notified as soon as a decision is made on the case. On xx/xx we approved your advance parole application I-131".

Everytime I have received response, words are minced:
1. Detailed review
2. Additional security checks pending
3. Name check pending
4. Extensive review and system checks.

Contacted senator boxer's office last week and out of curiousity asked them if they will just get the status from FBI or actually expedite it. Their answer is the first one.....

So lets see what happens now....

don't want to upset you too much, but I won't be surprised to hear FBI saying "due to national security concerns...." blah blah, ..in short, they just want you to shut up.
