Check this out - CSC says they are working on I485

Well, text of your post is:

Adjustment Applications (I-485s)
CSC confirmed that the processing of I-485s has resumed and that notices should start to be generated within the next 2 - 4 weeks.
NOTE: The CSC has a standard operating procedure that if an I-485 has been pending for more than one year, a RFE (Request for
Evidence) must be sent out to confirm that the applicant is still employed with the sponsoring organization.

Does it mean most of us would gets RFE for EVL before approval?

Recently, I have heard that CSC is putting in a lot of effort to clear the H1-B extension backalog. I know the dates have been moving up quite rapidly.

Hopefully the trend will continue.. and they will start processing 485s quickly

485 vs H1B

My H1B wait is almost 15 months compared with 485(10 months), don't believe their PR notes, it is just to confirm thier existence and not to be missed from the budget allocation. My strong feeling is, they are still trying to fix the damage done on shredding, which makes me to believe strongly after they announce a new policy on employment verification after their inefficient one year, which is totally unheard. A law specific to a particular service centre LMAO

Unfortunately this entire conversation is moot since she was born in NYC, Brooklyn to be precise. <EOT> She definitely doesn't need to wait for 485!

Update from my lawyer on I-485 approval from CSC:

My lawyer responded that they have started to receive AOS approvals from CSC. She also mentioned that the approved RDs are from Aug 2001. It is taking between 15-18 months now-a-days to get I-485 cases approved.

Surely, nothing new and always frustrating!

You guys seen "U-turn"? Got to take care of Sean Penn to win jlo.
She is surely a hottie in it!
