I have been a ghost to this site for more than 6 month. This site is very helpful. My husband is the principle applicant. Our 485 application's detail is as following:
WAC-02-032-xxxxx
RD: first week of Oct-2001
ND: first week of Nov-2001
FP: Mid of April 2002
RFE received by INS on: 11-26-2002 (3month paystub, EVL,...)
approved on 2-13-2003 (per AVM) both my husband and me
The message on the web site still shows that the RFE was received on 11/26.....
My husband changed his job after 6 month, and we used AC-21 when we replied the RFE. Keep your hopes up! check the AVM if your received date or notice date is around October and November, chances are that you might have been approved! :)

Thanks for posting your APPROVAL.

Can you clarify what it means by using AC-21. Another user has just posted some queries regarding this. Did you send any additional documentation along with your RFE or just the W-2 and EVL (as was asked).

Best regards

Congratulations!

Seeyu,

Thanks for posting the details of your approval. I am sure a lot of people are going to be greatfull mostly because this is the first approval with AC21.

Thanks for putting everyones mind at ease and congratulations once again!

received the letter today

I received the approval letters both for my husband and mine today.
As for the AC-21 question.. I don't know what exactly our lawyer sent to the INS. I think she asked for the new company's financial statement, brochure, etc. I am just glad that our case got approved.... :D
Good luck for all of you!

passport stamped

We went to the local San Jose INS as stated in the approval letter this morning and got there around 7:10 am to have our passports stamped. Although the letter stated that the office hour is from 7:30-11:00. I guess the security guard started to let people in around 7:00 because there are already about 20 people sitting in the waiting area.
We were called around 8:20 and picked up our stamped passports around 9:05. The whole process went pretty smoothly.
