Charleston Interview Experience

I don't know about Greer people getting done faster. We depend on Charleston. Whatever Charleston is saying, Greer is doing.
My husband's name check got cleared right away so, they scheduled him for the interview on first come (or cleared), first serve basis.

PD 05/04/2006; FP 06/16/2006; and...waiting....
Greer office confirmed that my name check was cleared 12/13/2006.

Samyukta, you are saying that your PD is Jan.2006. Maybe your name check wan not cleared until now. What part of SC are you from?

Danagirl, you are saying that your name check was cleared for mo. How do you know? Did you go for an info pass? Are you sure? If this is right, we might be in trouble big time both of us. Probably are lots of people with earlier PDs than ours that just got cleared by FBI. In this case, we are going to be waiting for quite a while...I HOPE NOT!!!!!

It's odd that Samyukta had her interview in Charleston when Fort Mills is a lot closer to Greer. Maybe we don't really know where our cases are going to get sent.

This is interesting....This means that I can go pretty much either way, Greer or Charleston...My friend that I was telling you about (also Upstate), he went for his interview in Charleston, but I thought that after 3+ years... Charleston is going to handle these kind of cases.
So...anything is possible.
The interview for my GC, I had it in Greer 5 years ago. I am ~25 miles away from the INS office. It takes me 30 min driving rush hour on I-85.
Now? God knows!
Oh, boy...

The Oath letter is dated Dec.21, 2006. We were out of town for Christmas and We found it in the mail box on Dec. 26 - when we got back....So, from the interview (11/15/06) to Oath Invitation ( 12/21/06), it took them ~ 5 weeks.

So, you should expect your around March 1...or so...
