Chaning Job - Will financial info required with EVL ?

I am planning to change employer using AC 21 (more than 180 days for I485 and I140 already approved). In addition to EVL do I need to also furnish financial information of new employer to prove their ability of pay salary ? Any comments please ?

When you send the letter to INS as soon as you switch jobs but before you get an RFE ,just the EVL should do. However you could get an RFE from INS when your case is picked up asking for the financial information of your company.

What type of financial info might be required ? Annual report ? Company tax statements ?
 
Some of my friends were asked to submit the company's annual Report which shows the sales,profit before/after taxes etc..
 
I have often seen requests for the last three tax returns. Some of the members here hadn't been saving their tax returns so if you wish to avoid asking IRS for copies, it's a good time to remind everyone to keep their returns for 5 years. Use Turbotax, keep the tax file.
 
You also need to keep copies of ur W2 as well. Jut the tax return may not be sufficient.
