Changing state with 140 approval pending

Hi guys,

I have my 140/485/EAD/AP concurrently in progress from CA . I still dont have a 140 approval though I did receive the EAD cards by mail .

My company - who filed the 140/485 for me - are now offering me a position in Austin,TX and I really want to take this position up (or get RIF'd ).

I had a couple of questions on this -
-- If I move to TX, with 140/485 pending in CA, will this affect the processing of 140/AOS in any way through California?ie could this result in RFEs etc ?
-- I am still on a H1 , will I have to get the H1 amended ?

If the effect is going to be serious, then I want to evaluate maintaining a house in CA and an office (with arrangements with my co ) ..else, I 'll do a full move.

If anyone has faced a similar situation , any pointers will be really helpful.

--- moving only is not the base of RFE, RFE can be for any documents from employer and your company lawyer will handle it becase RFE will go to him

---YES, new LCA for new location, your employer and lawyer should know this

---no problems just when you move fill up address change form AR11 and request your lawyer to update your NEW address on pending I-485 becase you want to get Fingerprinting notice on your New address, company lawyers ignore this kind of update with USCIS make sure lawyers sends your adress change on pending I-485 to USCIS CA or you write letter to USCIS CA with your I-485 filing reciept copy and make a request to change your new address on your pending I-485, write your name ason I-485 reciept, A#, DOB NEW address and past address
out side the envelope write in big bold letters Kind Attention: Address Change on Pending I-485
