changing passport from Indian to canadian

Hi
My h1 is stamped on an indian passport but now my citizenship is changing to canadian so my passport will also change to canadaian. what should i do about the h1 that is stamped in the indian passport as i may have to surrender the indian passoprt to get the canadian passport as we dont know yet if the dual citizenship has been approved for india.

-------------------- you dont need to surrunder Indian passport to canadian, you need to give it to Indian consulate and they will stamp "cancelled" and return it to you and Visa stamp in that passport will remain valid. when you enter US you need to show both the passports.
how did you apply Canadian citizenship as you were staying and working in US on H1???

and have not yet started working on the h1 in usa
